The wine would prevent the risk of lung cancer. The same argument to a Canadian study published this month.
A new study, published in the scientific journal Cancer Cell International, demonstrates the beneficial effect of wine on the body. Indeed, researchers from the Universities of McMaster and Brock showed that wine prevents cancer cells in the lung to grow and, even better, destroy them. More specifically red wine would be more effective than its white counterpart. However, experiments conducted by the University of Connecticut revealed that some white wines have antioxidant effects comparable to those of red wines.
In parallel, research conducted by the University of Saint-Jacques de Compostela had concluded that the consumption of red wine reduces the risk of lung cancer 13%, at a rate of one drink per day. Furthermore, red wine, rich in resveratrol, is widely recognized for its antioxidant properties and health benefits. Tops the list decrease cholesterol. More, in 1995, two American chemists, Vinson et Hontz, had been a reduction of bad cholesterol in subjects consuming only white wine, higher than in individuals drinking only red wine.
Last, but not least,, it is important to remember that to get the most positive properties of wine, meaningful use is still required, be no more than one drink daily !
